Placement Policy

1. Our Commitment

AARIVON is committed to supporting your career transition into the AI industry. Our placement support program is designed to connect qualified graduates with leading employers seeking AI talent. We target a 70% placement support rate for eligible graduates who fully engage with our program within 6 months of course completion.

It is important to understand that "placement support" means we provide comprehensive assistance including profile building, interview opportunities, and career guidance. We facilitate connections between you and potential employers, but the final hiring decision rests with the employer. We do not guarantee employment, a specific job role, or a minimum salary.

Our placement commitment is backed by:

  • A dedicated placement cell with industry-experienced career coaches
  • Active partnerships with 250+ hiring partners across India and globally
  • Regular employer connect sessions and hiring drives
  • Continuous curriculum alignment with industry requirements
  • Verified placement data published in our annual transparency report

2. Placement Eligibility

To qualify for placement support, you must meet all of the following criteria:

2.1 Course Completion

  • Successfully complete all mandatory modules of your enrolled program
  • Submit and pass all required assignments and projects
  • Complete the capstone project with a minimum passing score
  • Obtain the course completion certificate

2.2 Attendance Requirement

  • Maintain a minimum of 85% attendance across all live sessions
  • Complete at least 90% of self-paced learning content
  • Attend all mandatory career preparation workshops

2.3 Portfolio Quality

  • Submit a complete portfolio containing minimum 3 industry-relevant projects
  • Projects must demonstrate practical application of AI/ML concepts taught in the course
  • Code must be well-documented and hosted on a public GitHub repository
  • Portfolio must include a README file explaining each project's objective, approach, and results
  • Pass the portfolio review conducted by our technical panel

2.4 Assessment Criteria

  • Score a minimum of 70% in the final skills assessment
  • Complete all mock interviews with a satisfactory rating
  • Demonstrate proficiency in at least one major AI framework (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent)

2.5 Behavioural Requirements

  • Maintain professional conduct throughout the program
  • No violations of the Code of Conduct or academic integrity policies
  • Active participation in peer learning and community activities

3. Preparation Requirements

Before being introduced to hiring partners, you must complete the following preparation milestones:

3.1 Resume Optimisation

  • Develop an ATS-compliant resume highlighting your AI skills and projects
  • Get your resume reviewed and approved by our career coaches
  • Tailor your resume for specific job roles (AI Engineer, ML Engineer, Data Scientist, etc.)

3.2 LinkedIn Profile

  • Create or optimise your LinkedIn profile with professional headline and summary
  • Add all completed projects with detailed descriptions
  • Obtain recommendations from instructors or mentors
  • Build a network of at least 100 relevant industry connections

3.3 GitHub Portfolio

  • Maintain an active GitHub profile with all course projects
  • Ensure repositories are well-organised with clear documentation
  • Demonstrate consistent coding activity over the program duration

3.4 Interview Preparation

  • Complete minimum 3 mock technical interviews with our panel
  • Complete minimum 2 mock HR/behavioural interviews
  • Score at least 70% in our interview readiness assessment
  • Attend all company-specific interview preparation sessions

4. Placement Process

Once you meet all eligibility criteria, our structured placement process begins:

4.1 Profile Activation

Your verified candidate profile is activated in our placement portal, including your resume, portfolio, assessment scores, and skill tags. You select your job preferences (role, location, salary range, industry).

4.2 Profile Sharing with Hiring Partners

Based on your preferences and skill profile, our placement team:

  • Matches your profile with suitable openings from our hiring partners
  • Shares your anonymised profile with employers (full profile shared only after your explicit consent for each opportunity)
  • Coordinates preliminary screening calls between you and interested employers
  • Schedules interviews at mutually convenient times

4.3 Interview Coordination

  • We facilitate interview scheduling, including technical rounds, coding challenges, and HR discussions
  • Interview logistics (virtual meeting links, time slots) are managed through our platform
  • We provide pre-interview briefs about the company, role, and interview format
  • Post-interview feedback is collected from both you and the employer

4.4 Offer Negotiation

When you receive a job offer, our career coaches provide guidance on:

  • Understanding the complete compensation package (fixed, variable, equity, benefits)
  • Market-aligned salary benchmarking for your role and experience level
  • Offer negotiation strategies (we do not negotiate on your behalf)
  • Evaluating multiple offers to make an informed decision

4.5 Acceptance & Onboarding

Once you accept an offer, we facilitate smooth onboarding by:

  • Sharing relevant documentation requirements with the employer
  • Conducting background verification as requested by the employer
  • Providing guidance on resignation from current employment if applicable
  • Collecting your placement outcome data for our transparency report

5. Salary Expectations

AARIVON provides market-aligned salary guidance based on extensive research and our hiring partner data. However, we do not guarantee any specific salary figure. Actual salary depends on multiple factors:

  • Your prior experience: Fresher vs. lateral hiring significantly impacts compensation
  • Your skill proficiency: Assessment scores and portfolio quality influence offers
  • Company size and stage: Startups, mid-size companies, and enterprises have different pay scales
  • Location: Metro cities typically offer higher compensation than tier-2/3 cities
  • Market conditions: Industry demand for AI talent fluctuates based on economic conditions
  • Job role: AI Engineers, ML Engineers, Data Scientists, and AI Agent Developers have different salary bands

Our published salary statistics represent historical averages and should be treated as indicative guidance only. We encourage you to research current market rates and set realistic expectations based on your individual profile.

6. Job Types

Through our placement network, you may be connected with the following types of opportunities:

6.1 Direct Placement (Full-Time)

Permanent, full-time positions with our hiring partners. These are the most common opportunities and typically include standard employment benefits (health insurance, provident fund, paid leave, etc.).

6.2 Internship-to-Hire

Paid internship positions with a defined conversion path to full-time employment upon satisfactory performance. Internship durations typically range from 3 to 6 months. We prioritise partners with documented high conversion rates (above 70%).

6.3 Contract & Project-Based Roles

Fixed-term contract positions or project-based engagements, typically with companies requiring specialised AI expertise for specific initiatives. These roles often offer competitive daily/monthly rates and may suit professionals seeking flexible arrangements.

6.4 Remote & Hybrid Opportunities

An increasing number of our hiring partners offer remote-first or hybrid work arrangements. Location preferences are captured during profile activation, and we match accordingly.

7. Exclusions

Placement support will not be provided or may be discontinued in the following situations:

  • Eligibility Not Met: Students who fail to meet the attendance, completion, or assessment criteria outlined in Section 2
  • Conduct Violations: Students with recorded violations of the Code of Conduct, including plagiarism, harassment, or fraudulent behaviour
  • Inactive Engagement: Students who do not respond to placement team communications for more than 14 consecutive days without valid reason
  • Multiple Offer Rejections: Students who decline 3 or more suitable offers (as determined by our career panel) without valid justification may be deprioritised
  • Misrepresentation: Students found to have falsified their resume, portfolio, or background information will be permanently barred from placement services
  • Post-Placement Default: Students who accept an offer and then fail to join without valid reason may be ineligible for future placement support
  • External Job Already Secured: Students who secure employment independently before or during our placement process must inform us promptly

8. Verification & Transparency

AARIVON is committed to complete transparency in our placement operations:

8.1 Independent Audit

Our placement data is subject to annual independent audit by a recognised third-party firm. The audit verifies:

  • Number of eligible graduates
  • Number of students who received at least one interview opportunity
  • Number of students who received job offers
  • Number of students who accepted and joined
  • Average and median salary figures
  • Time-to-placement metrics

8.2 Transparency Report

We publish an annual Placement Transparency Report on our website, updated every financial year. This report includes verified placement statistics, hiring partner details, salary ranges by role, and methodology notes.

8.3 Student Right to Information

As an eligible placement candidate, you have the right to:

  • Know the number of active openings matching your profile
  • Receive feedback on why your profile was not shortlisted for specific roles
  • Request a review of your placement progress at any time
  • Appeal exclusion decisions to the Student Welfare Committee

9. Post-Placement Support

Our relationship with you continues even after you secure a job:

9.1 Three-Month Follow-Up

Our placement team conducts structured follow-up at 30, 60, and 90 days post-placement to:

  • Ensure smooth onboarding and role alignment
  • Address any challenges in your new position
  • Collect feedback about the employer for our partner quality assessment
  • Provide additional skill resources if your role requires competencies not covered in the course

9.2 Alumni Network Access

All placed graduates are invited to join the AARIVON Alumni Network, which provides:

  • Lifetime access to our learning management system for refresher content
  • Invitations to advanced workshops and industry webinars
  • Peer networking opportunities with fellow alumni
  • Mentorship opportunities for future batches
  • Access to our job board for future career moves (after 12 months in the first role)

9.3 Job Change Support

After completing 12 months in your first placed role, you become eligible for job change support:

  • Profile reactivation in our placement portal
  • Access to new job openings from our expanded hiring partner network
  • Updated resume and portfolio review
  • Interview preparation for senior-level roles

9.4 Dispute Resolution

If you encounter issues with your employer related to offer terms, role misalignment, or workplace concerns within the first 3 months, our placement team will mediate between you and the employer to find an amicable resolution. We do not guarantee outcomes but will make best-effort attempts to support you.
